NACTO Conference - Designing Cities: Leading the Way to World Class Streets

On October 24-26, 2012, the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) will host Designing Cities: Leading the Way to World Class Streetsat the NYU Kimmel Center. The conference, which is being hosted in coordination with the NYU Rudin Center for Transportation, will bring together elected officials, transportation leaders, and key stakeholders from the public and private sector

The conference marks an opportunity to crystallize and accelerate the transportation programs and priorities of major cities around the US.  Topics of interest to transportation engineers include:


Complete Streets in Constrained Corridors: Balancing demands for bikes, buses, streetcars, pedestrians, cars, trucks and light rail within a constrained right-of-way (both as a panel & a workshop)
