An integral part of the 2013 ITE Annual Meeting and Exhibit is a thread of opportunities for information sharing, dialogue, and input on technology topics.

  • In March 2013 the International Board of Direction established the ITE+ Next Generation of Transportation Technology Task Force, chaired by Eva Lerner-Lam, President, Palisades, Consulting Group Inc., to look at the role of ITE and its engagement in emerging technologies. Their deliberations have influenced the technology education and engagement opportunities at this meeting.
  • Sessions throughout the meeting will take a look at the vehicle technology continuum, current and future impacts on infrastructure, public agencies, and the role of ITE members.
  • Additional sessions include a look at how to use social media and mobile apps, as well as the impact they are having on the profession.
