Tips and Best Practices for ITE Community

Thanks to everyone who's participated so far!  Here are some tips to help you get the most out of ITE Community.
  1. Add a photo to your profile.
A photo will help you get a response to your question.  It identifies who you are and personalizes your responses.  Click on My Profile to add a photo.

  2. Add documents, photos, links, etc.
Everything you add to ITE Community contributes to ITE's institutional knowledge base.  Your questions, responses and files help build a searchable repository.  Everything on the All Member Forum is searchable from the upper right-hand corner of the ITE Community site.  All documents and public blogs are also searchable from ITE.org.

  3. Thank respondents to close threads.
If you ask a question and find what you're looking for, it's a good practice to thank the respondents to your question.  If you found a particular response helpful, let everyone know.  This will help others who have similar questions in the future and search the site for information.

  4. Ask me questions!
If you have a question about ITE Community, you are likely not alone.  I'm here to help you navigate and get the most out of this site.  You can ask in the All Member Forum and I will let everyone know.

See the getting started video I recorded for a visual.
