Professional Traffic Operations Engineer® (PTOE) Refresher Course
This course provides an overview of topics, key references, and an independent study guide for those planning to take the PTOE certification examination, or who are just interested in expanding their knowledge of traffic operations. The course prepares participants for the examination, but is not keyed to specific examination questions. It is expected that participants will take the refresher course, use it as a self-study guide, and then take the certification exam at some future date. This course has been updated to remain consistent with current PTOE examination questions based on recent publications including the 2010 Highway Capacity Manual, 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2011 Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets, and 2013 Traffic Control Devices Handbook.

Professional Transportation Planner ® Refresher Course
The Professional Transportation Planner® (PTP) Refresher Course for the certification examination will be offered for individuals planning to take this exam, or who are just interested in expanding their knowledge of transportation planning. The course prepares participants for the examination, but is not keyed specifically to examination questions. It is expected that participants will take the refresher course, use it as a guide for self-study, and then take the certification exam at some future date. The PTP certificate is designed for candidates who have a wide-range of education and experience in transportation planning. Currently, no other certification program is offered that specifically addresses the work performed by transportation planners. With registration for this course, individuals will receive a copy of the Professional Transportation Planner Certification Program Refresher Course Handbook along with hard copies of the presentation slides.
