Have you heard about the new ITE Advocacy Committee and Network?
ITE International President Hibbett Neel writes about the importance of advocacy in his April ITE Journal message, available here. The new Advocacy Committee, co-chaired by International Board Member Monica Suter and ITE member Sam Schwartz,was formed to give ITE members the tools they need to educate elected officials about the importance of implementing transportation improvements and maintaining infrastructure. The committee will present success stories about mobility improvements our members have made and produce advocacy webinars.
To stay on top of this important topic, ITE members are invited to join the Advocacy Network on ITE Community. All you have to do is log into your account on the ITE Community, hover your cursor over “My Profile,” and select “My Subscriptions.” Look for the Advocacy Network and select your subscription type (real-time or daily digest).
