April is a busy time for collegiate traffic bowls. Three more ITE districts conducted events to qualify their representative to the Grand Championship Traffic Bowl to be held this coming August in Atlanta! Teams winning their district traffic bowl are eligible to compete in the Grand Championship.

In the past month, Purdue University won the Great Lakes District, North Carolina State University defended their district title from 2011 to win the Southern District, and Penn State University won for the first time the Mid-Colonial District traffic bowl. The teams from these three schools will join already qualified teams from UMass-Amherst and Texas A&M University for the competition on August 14th at the ITE International Annual Meeting and Exhibit in Atlanta, Georgia.

Coming up, the Canadian District will conduct their traffic bowl in May, and then in June, the Florida, Midwestern, and Western Districts will hold their traffic bowls, which will then complete the field of nine teams for the 2012 Grand Championship!

Be sure to attend your district's traffic bowl and we'll see you in Atlanta!
