At this year's ITE Annual Meeting and Exhibit in , ITE will be conducting three sessions that will provide training on some of the latest transportation product innovations.

Peek TrafficTSP Controller Training

Monday, August 15, 8:00 a.m.–9:30 a.m.

Room 106, America’s Center

Peek Traffic will demonstrate all operations of its Traffic Signal Priority (TSP) project developed in in 2009–2010. The project included the development of five unique Green/Walk extension algorithms, the introduction of phase truncation phase skipping and phase rotation to facilitate on-the-fly sequence changes, and a brand new offset recovery strategy that gives the traffic engineer the ability to determine how aggressive or conservative the recovery from TSP would take place.

 

Siemens ACS Lite Adaptive and SiTravel Blue Tooth Travel Data Training

Monday, August 15, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Room 106, America’s Center

ACS Lite has proven to reduce congestion and travel time in a variety of applications. This training will review the basics and important set-up information. It will also cover the SiTravel, BlueTooth technology based travel data system. Topics will include: the history of and introduction to ACS Lite; when to use adaptive control; corridor selection for proper application;

how ACS Lite works; communications; detection requirements; system configuration; measuring benefits; and blue tooth layout and configuration.
