Fellow Transportation Planners and Engineers,
I came across this great blog post from Charles Marhon with Strong Towns. The article is great in identifying a flaw regional transportation planning (or DOTs). The article really made me think about how we define goals for our communities. Is mobility a word that takes a back seat to other goals regarding things like access, optimize investments, prioritize transportation intiatives, support local, and minimize fatalities? Please let me know if you have any opinions. Lets start a discussion on this great blog right here on the community.
