Shared Mobility: Current Practices and Guiding Principles Webinar —Free!

Shared Mobility is the term used to describe the shared use of a vehicle, bicycle, or other mode. It is an innovative transportation strategy that enables users to gain access to transportation modes on an as-needed basis. 

This free webinar will delve into the current practice of Shared Mobility services, by providing an overview of activity, challenges for local public agencies, and lessons learned. In addition, the role of the public sector will be discussed and some guiding principles identified to help support the shared mobility as a transportation service on our cities. The webinar will be based on recent work done by the Federal Highway Administration and feature three notable experts: 

  • Dr. Susan Shaheen, University of California at Berkeley; 
  • Timothy Papandreou, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency; 
  • Kathleen Garman, City of Kansas City, Missouri; and
  • Wayne Berman, FHWA

 

This webinar is a free ITE Learning Hub event, however, no PDH credits will be issued.
