The Federal Highway Administration invites you to join us for a webinar to launch the Transportation Performance Management Toolbox, an online resource to assist agencies in learning about and implementing TPM practices. The webinar is scheduled for Monday, December 5, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm (EST).  This event is open to staff from FHWA, State DOTs, MPOs, public transportation agencies, and other stakeholders.

During the webinar, FHWA will introduce stakeholders to two of the TPM Toolbox’s key features:

  • The TPM Guidebook: The focus of this guidebook is to move the theory of TPM into practice by providing how-to information for agencies interested in implementing or improving the application of performance management principles.
  • The TPM Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Self-assessment: The objective of the TPM CMM Self-assessment is to provide the basis for a tool that transportation agencies can use to assess their TPM capabilities and identify areas where they should take steps to improve these capabilities.

Both the TPM Guidebook and TPM CMM are also used during the delivery of TPM State Workshops and Peer-to-Peer Assistance workshops that use a structured TPM CMM self-assessment to help agencies identify and address gaps in their ability to deliver a transportation performance management program.
