Request for Qualifications
ITS Standards Training Year Four Module Development
Response Deadline- August 30th, 2015, 3:00 PM Eastern
The Institute of Transportation Engineers will assist the USDOT JPO to provide next series of ITS Standards training and education modules that will include 10 new and 6 existing courses on ITS Standards.
The goal of this work is to support the overall ITS JPO effort to provide personnel performing ITS systems deployment with the skills required to effectively utilize these standards in the procurement, installation, testing and operation of ITS technologies.
The tasks associated herein provide the next steps for development and delivery of ITS Standards training. ITE has conducted module development for the ITS Standards Professional Capacity Building program for USDOT during the past several years. A total of 37 modules are completed and are already on the USDOT/RITA/JPO website. The link to the website follows: http://www.pcb.its.dot.gov/stds_training.aspx.
