The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) congratulates Elaine Chao on her confirmation as the 18th U.S. Transportation Secretary. ITE looks forward to working with Secretary Chao to improve safety, foster innovation, and advance infrastructure improvements.

"Secretary Chao realizes the challenges facing the transportation system and how it effects individual businesses and communities and the nation as a whole," said Jeffrey F.
