On June 29, the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and the American Trucking Associations (ATA) will host a lunch and policy discussion at the National Press Club to mark the 60th anniversary of President Eisenhower's signing into law legislation that provided the funding and began the construction of our nation's 47,000 mile Interstate Highway System.
Among the speakers at this lunch will be ITE's Executive Director and CEO, Jeff Paniati. Joining him will be
- Senate Environment & Public Works Committee Chairman Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), will deliver the keynote address.
- Pat Thomas, senior vice president, state government affairs, UPS;
- Brad Dean, president & CEO, Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Chamber of Commerce; and
- John Lex, professional driver, Walmart Transportation and ATA “America’s Road Team” captain.
