Featured Webinar - Mayor's Challenge: Safer People & Safer Streets

More than 200 cities have committed to their Mayor’s Challenge to improve walking and biking in their cities.  If you'd like to learn more about this program or compare results with another city that has taken on the challenge join us for the Mayor’s Challenge: Safer People and Safer Streets on Tuesday, September 22 from 12:00–1:30 PM Eastern Time.

Speakers
Barbara McCann, Director, USDOT Office of Safety, Energy, and Environment

Office of the Secretary, USDOT will speak on the details of the Mayor’s Challenge initiative and Mayor’s Challenge activities, as well as taking a Complete Streets Approach and resources available to help with gathering and tracking biking and walking data. Interested cities can still join the more than 200 Challenge cities committed to improving walking and biking by emailing pedbikesafey@dot.gov. 

Kyle Wagneschutz, Bikeway and Pedestrian Program Manager, City of Memphis, Tennessee. He will discuss Memphis' experience and progress with the challenge.
