The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) International Board of
Direction previously discussed the value of the technical presentations
that are being made at all levels of the Institute. They are a valuable
resource to all ITE members and represent an opportunity to expand the exposure
of the authors’ efforts beyond the attendees.
As a part of an ongoing effort, ITE headquarters invites all regional and local meeting organizers and presenters to share with the membership all
copies of the PowerPoint slides and/or papers presented at these meetings.
After contacting each of the authors to gain the necessary permissions, ITE
plans to include these in a comprehensive searchable database that will include
published articles; papers presented at meetings (at the local and
international levels); newsletter articles; and ITE’s publications.
ITE is currently finalizing the details of this searchable database,
with the intent to share all of the presentations as soon as we
collect permissions from the authors.
All presentations and related inquiries should be sent to Natalia
Vlasov, Membership Director, at nvlasov@ite.org. Please include “ITE Meeting
PowerPoint Presentation” in the subject line. If easily available, please include
a copy of the technical program from the meeting for which you're submitting a
copy of your presentation/paper.
