Experience a Slice of the OC at ITE's 2016 Annual Meeting & Exhibit (August 14-17, 2016 at the Marriott Anaheim)!

Conveniently located between San Diego and Los Angeles, CA and encompassing 782 square miles and 31 cities, Orange County (OC) is an area that has grown into a community that now can rival its two bordering counties. This coastal community is home to three professional sports teams, several designer shopping malls, 5,000 restaurants, and one famous mouse—resulting in the perfect combination of transportation sophistication and Southern Californian family vacation. Visitors to Orange County can expect a mild weather climate year-round allowing for outdoor fun during all seasons. The average temperatures in the OC in August average a high of 77 and a low of 64.  Precipitation is almost non-existent in August, averaging an almost unmeasurable .01 inches.

In addition to a powerful technical education program (think PDHs!), ITE's meeting agenda includes plenty of family-fun opportunities, including:

  • The always-popular Intercollegiate Traffic Bowl Grand Championship on Monday night;
  • A show stopper Game Night on Tuesday evening (challenge your family and friends at pub trivia "Are You Smarter Than the Traffic Bowl Teams?", ping pong, foosball, double shot basketball, corn hole, and ladder golf) while waiting for the results of the MiteY Race (stay tuned for more about this Western District event coming to the Annual Meeting & Exhibit); and
  • Plans for group trips to Disneyland or a baseball game on the last day of the meeting.

Make the 2016 ITE Annual Meeting & Exhibit part of your summer getaway plans!
