Nissan plans to release prototype for self-driving taxi in 2 years
Nissan is planning to introduce a prototype for a self-driving taxi within the next two years, the company said in documents. The Nissan Research Center in Silicon Valley has reached an agreement with NASA's Ames Research Center to develop the technology, which will involve modifying the software NASA uses to operate planetary rovers and controlling them with robotic interfaces.
