2014 ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl Season is Complete; Students start thinking about 2015!

The 2014 ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl season is now complete, and I would like to take this time to thank all of the students, faculty advisers, audience members and volunteers for their participation and support of the program. I would also like to thank the ITE Traffic Bowl Committee and District Coordinators for all of their work over this past year.

We are starting the early planning for 2015 and in just six short months, the new season will be underway. While the 2015 district traffic bowl schedule has yet to be finalized, it is not too early for students to start planning now to attend a district traffic bowl (or for you all in the Southern District, a section traffic bowl) in order to qualify for the Grand Championship to be held in Hollywood, Florida (not California), which will be the site of the 2015 International ITE Annual Meeting next August! To get more information about the 2015 events, g
o to http://www.ite.org/trafficbowl/default.asp to find the name of your district's traffic bowl coordinator.  Most of the district traffic bowls are expected to be held during each ITE District’s annual conference, and we will post the dates for 2015 district traffic bowls soon. The Southern District’s section traffic bowls will be held sometime within the next six months so please check with your local section officers on the dates and locations.

If you would like to help out in 2015, with writing clues, with a district event or even with the production of the Grand Championship, please contact me at DavisJ@AyresAssociates.com. We can use all the help that we can get.

If you have suggestions for the traffic bowl program, please let me know as well. Thanks again and we hope to see you next year at a traffic bowl event.

TTFN.
