2014 Collegiate Traffic Bowl Field Almost Complete

Six of the nine teams have been selected for 2014 ITE Grand Championship Traffic Bowl. The competition will be held during the ITE International Annual Meeting on Tuesday evening, August 12th in the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. A ticketed reception will start at 7 pm with the Traffic Bowl Grand Championship commencing around 7:20 pm. ALL are welcome to view the Traffic Bowl! Be sure to wear the colors of your favorite or newly favorite team.

Over the past several months teams from ITE student chapters have been competing in traffic bowl competitions held in the ITE districts. The winners of each ITE district competition will compete in this Fifth Annual Grand Championship. The school winning the 2014 Grand Championship will receive $2,000 (USD). To date, the schools selected to participate in the Grand Championship are:

So pick your favorite team, break out the spirit wear, and we hope to see all of you attending the Annual Meeting at this fun and entertaining competition!

The objectives of the ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl Program, which was started in 2009, are to encourage students to become more active members in ITE, to enhance their knowledge of the traffic/transportation engineering and planning profession and of ITE itself, and to strengthen the programs of the ITE student chapters.
